A plume of Saharan dust will cause a reduction in visibility and air quality across the Lesser Antilles over the next few days.

A tropical wave, located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward at about 15 mph or 24 km/h. This wave is expected to get to the islands by Tuesday night.

Another Tropical wave, located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is also moving westward at about 15 mph or 24 km/h.

At 5 a.m. today, the centre of Tropical Depression Grace was located east-southeast of Port Au Prince, Haiti. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph or 55 km/h with higher gusts. Grace is moving toward the west at about 15 mph or 24 km/h.

FORECAST FOR SAINT LUCIA VALID FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS

Winds will be blowing from the east near 20 mph or 31 km/h.

Weather: Fair and hazy skies occasionally becoming cloudy with a few showers.
