On Tuesday June 8th 2021 residence from the Augier Vieux Fort community stumbled upon human remains in the heavily forested area of Augier. The remains found were said to be a skull near a makeshift residence.
An eyewitness stated that a weather-beaten pair of shorts was also found near the remains, discovered hundreds of meters away from the road.
Vieux Fort police currently have an ongoing investigation on the matter.
