At approximately 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, the Micoud fire station was summoned to Beauchamp, Ti Rocher, Micoud. It is reported that a minibus had gotten out of control and veered off the roadway.

The bus was fully loaded with passengers, some of whom were trapped in the bus.

There were multiple injuries varying from minor abrasions to extreme fractures.  Some passengers were taken to the hospital by ambulance while others were taken by private vehicles.

The owner of a heavy duty crane, Bruce Augustine, assisted first responders to remove trapped passengers bus.

Reports are that the driver lost control of the vehicle.
